Crash Notice - Status Update
October 15, 2007 10:35 AM PDT
On Oct. 9, 2007, the Podomatic website (the enterprise that hosts this podcast) experienced a severe server crash. Apparently the crash affected around 14% of the podcast shows they host, and unfortunately Audio Stasis was a casualty. All content prior to Oct 9 was lost in the crash. Since then, I have re-posted a few of those shows and clearly indicated them as such with [REPOST] in the episode title. However, your podcatchers will no doubt interpret them as new shows. My apologies to all subscribers who had already downloaded them. Assuming that the system is stable as of now, all future episiodes should be available as usual. Once again, I apologize for the interruption (and Podomatic apologizes, too). I hope you've been enjoying the sessions, and thanks for your continued support! Taj.istic

About tajiriProducer and DJ Tajiri Saedi has been pushing underground music since 1990, when he launched the influential Rutgers College radio shows "The Friday Night House Groove" and "Liquid LuvCulture" on 88.7 WRSU FM, broadcasting out of New Brunswick, NJ. By the early 90's, he had become well known for taking his audience in unexpected musical directions, and for his passionate, fluid, moody, and mellow yet quirky style of playing. Tajiri has played at various New Jersey clubs that were widely considered to be staples of house music's unruly adolescent era, including Club America, Club 88, and the legendary Club Zanzibar. These days, you can catch him spinning just about any genre: from deep house to broken beat, hip hop to rare groove, jazz/funk to punk/funk to astral jazz to Detroit techno to future soul, and just about anything else along the way. As for production, Tajiri has dropped tracks for Soul Society Records ("Soul Sampler" EP, 1999), done track work for various NYC based acts such as The Jazzhole (www.jazzhole.com) and Inviolate (www.themeditations.com), and dabbled in film scoring. Be on the lookout for new solo tracks as well as the long-awaited debut album from his abstract soul duo, "Lofty Spaces", in the near future. Fans of this Show
